Connect your commitment to a local climate need in South India. Explore the evidence, ask your questions and understand the route before making a financial decision.
Where we are today: All three demonstrators are concepts. You can read their planning briefs and discuss project preparation. Exact sites, approved budgets, appointed delivery teams and funding recipients are still pending. This site does not collect donations.
A PATH THAT FITS YOUR PRIORITIES
What brings you here?
Choose the context that fits you. These are conversation routes, not eligibility assessments.
Start with a cause you care about.
Choose water, heat or farm resilience. Read a planning brief, tell us what matters to you and ask what evidence is needed before any financial commitment.
These planning briefs are available without registration. Each shows what is known, what is missing and the next decision. Illustrations show concepts rather than actual project sites.
D01 · CONCEPT · SITE PENDING
Water people can rely on
Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu
Households need dependable safe-water services. The proposed assessment will establish whether a local reliability gap remains after existing services and schemes are considered.
Next: Select a village cluster and confirm access for a water-service baseline.
People learning and working in institutions need usable indoor environments. The proposed assessment will establish actual exposure and suitable protection at selected buildings.
Next: Identify candidate institutions and obtain permission for occupied-hour thermal monitoring.
Farming families need production stability and viable net incomes. The proposed assessment will examine local rainfall risks, existing support and the remaining resilience gap.
Next: Select the current mandal and farmer cluster; obtain consent and available farm records.
Before infrastructure or field trials, a project needs local consent, a baseline and a credible design. You can discuss a separately scoped assessment engagement to establish those foundations.
01 · ASSESS
Establish the need
Confirm an exact site, community priorities, current services and the local baseline.
Develop quantities, cost evidence, a measurement plan and a documented recommendation to proceed, revise or stop.
An assessment can conclude that implementation should not proceed. No assessment price, provider appointment or delivery date is confirmed yet. A written proposal must name the responsible parties, deliverables, fees, recipient, permissions and timeline before acceptance.
Named recipient, charitable purpose, authorised receipt route and any applicable tax approval.
No project donation recipient or tax benefit is verified here.
Overseas / diaspora giving
Recipient eligibility under applicable FCRA requirements, donor/source classification, permitted receiving account and donor-country requirements. Location or currency alone does not establish the correct route.
No overseas donation route or partner is appointed.
Foundation / family office
Recipient due diligence, grant agreement, governance, reporting, safeguards and any cross-border requirements.
Request a readiness discussion; grant-ready dossiers are pending.
Corporate CSR
Project and implementing-entity eligibility, applicable registrations, board approval and agreed monitoring.
CSR eligibility and an implementing partner remain unverified.
POIGAI advisory services
Separate written scope, contracting identity, deliverables, fee and invoicing terms.
Fees are not represented as charitable donations or guaranteed fundraising success.
Funding arrangements require case-specific professional review. No blanket 80G, US, UK or other tax deduction is promised. POIGAI does not offer an Indian pass-through or re-granting route for foreign contributions.
Exact place, community consent and measured baseline.
Confirmed unmet need and alternatives considered.
Named delivery partner and maintenance owner.
Costed design, full lifecycle budget and funding gap.
Outcome targets, measurement method and deadlines.
Recipient verification, approvals, safeguards and risks.
A reporting plan agreed in writing
The proposed reporting standard separates expenditure, activities delivered and measured outcomes. The agreement should identify the reporting owner, schedule, supporting evidence, delay escalation and how unspent funds or scope changes are handled.
Reports and live progress will be published only when an actual engagement and permissions support them. No project delivery or results are claimed today.
This website does not accept donations. You can read the concept briefs, discuss an assessment scope or explore a partnership. A funding request should follow verified readiness and an appropriate recipient route.
Can I support a specific place or cause?
Yes, you can express a preference for water, heat or farm resilience and a location. This records an enquiry, not an earmarked gift or a promise that a proposed project will proceed.
Will I receive a tax deduction?
No tax benefit is promised by POIGAI. Eligibility depends on the actual recipient, the donor, the jurisdiction and the transaction. Ask for current evidence and independent advice before committing.
Are you partnered with the organisations cited?
Research citations are evidence sources. They do not mean endorsement, accreditation or a partnership with POIGAI. No implementation or international giving partner is currently appointed in this portfolio.
What if the project changes or is not feasible?
The assessment should recommend proceeding, revising or stopping based on evidence. Any future funding agreement should define approvals for changes, unspent funds, refunds where applicable and reporting duties before funds move.
Must I create an account or share financial details?
No. Briefs are public and an enquiry needs only basic contact details, a role and consent. Do not send identity documents, card details or sensitive beneficiary information through the enquiry form.
